Some of us were kind of discussing this last practice, so I thought I might throw them on here for next semester. If everybody likes them, maybe we can begin implementing them regularly?
1. Saturdays are Garb Days.
If you have garb, wear it. If you don't? Maybe.... people get extra points for killing you? (*shrug*) Or maybe people with Garb get cupcakes. (yay positive reinforcement)
2. Head hits are kill.
In other words, if you smack somebody in the head, you are immediately dead. I like this rule because when I got home last night blood came out of my nose when I blew it from getting hit in the head..... at least five or six times. This will encourage people to work on their target practice and being conscious of where they are attacking often shorter *COUGH* foes. This would just be considered "House Rules" and wouldn't apply to events, obviously.
Dunno if there are any others anyone might throw in, but I figured we could at least start a reasonable "Code of Conduct".... Yea or nay?

Taking death for head shots is a good way to train yourself not to do it anymore. Starting off, it might be a good idea for folks to take death for head shots even at events. You'll impress other fighters with your honor, and that is something everyone likes to see.
As for garb enforcement, I think this is a good idea as well. What to do about non-garb members? Try making a few very ugly (possibly brightly colored) tunics that people without garb must wear. That way, everyone will be in garb for the practices, but those that come back often will feel more inclined to make garb that is less embarrassing.

Perfect! Hideous tunics are a great idea.
And I like the idea of building a code of conduct. I'm sure we'll talk it over on the way to Cold Blood; see if I have anything to put up, then.

I was told when I got back from practice last time by two different people, completely unprompted, that my nose was now a tad crooked. ;_;
I guess it's the price you pay, eh?

They must have been an army of cave trolls. >>;
My character should have been a dwarf.... but then I would have had to buy facial hair.
